Welcome to Manye Foundation School, a vibrant non-governmental community Junior High School established in 2002. Nestled in the heart of Tema Community 25, within the Kpone Katamanso Municipality of Greater Accra Region, Ghana, our school is conveniently situated just a stone’s throw away from the Tema Community 25 police station. As a community day school, we are dedicated to providing our students with a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Our Humble Beginnings
Manye Foundation School was founded in 2002 by Mr. Daniel Weber Kabutey Nartey, a retiree from the Ghana Publication Corporation. Initially, he started a bible studies class in 2000 with his daughter, Dornuki Suom Nartey, Francis, and a few other children from Kpone Barrier. As more children from neighboring communities joined, Mr. Kabutey Nartey dedicated himself to providing basic education to those whose parents couldn’t afford it.
With a passion for helping underprivileged children, he hired private teachers and provided food and clothing to his students. The school grew rapidly, and by 2002, he had established Manye Foundation School on a parcel of land leased from Tema Development Corporation (TDC) in 1982.
Over the years, our school has benefited from volunteer teachers from Accra College of Education and Dartmouth College, USA, who have supported our teaching staff. Today, we are a Ghana Education Service-approved school with over 100 pupils and a proud record of graduating over 500 junior high students since 2009.
Our story is one of dedication, compassion, and commitment to providing quality education to those who need it most. We look forward to continuing this legacy and shaping the future of our students.
